Poderosa Medicina is a ceremonial and cinematic medicine music album, the culmination of over a year of immersive fieldwork, studio research, and meticulous sound engineering.

This project represents a deep integration of acoustic and traditional instruments, precise recording methodologies, and direct engagement with ancestral ceremonial practices.

The album features MIRA JEMPE, a Master Plant maestro from the mountains of Ecuador, whose profound knowledge of ancestral plant medicine and ceremonial wisdom shaped the very essence of the recordings.

Across two dedicated journeys, YAMAREMO worked alongside MIRA JEMPE to capture his live voice, instruments, and ceremonial presence using high-fidelity techniques, preserving the depth, intention, and subtlety of every sound.

MIRA JEMPE’s guidance was not only central to the performances but also infused the album with authentic ceremonial energy, making him a true co-creator of this medicine music journey.

All compositions, recordings, and post-production were completed by YAMAREMO, utilizing more than 30 acoustic and traditional instruments within a controlled studio environment. Six months of focused sound design and production were invested to achieve clarity, spatial depth, and emotional impact in every track.

In addition, all album artwork and graphics were designed by YAMAREMO, reflecting the same immersive, ceremonial, and cinematic vision present in the music itself.

Poderosa Medicina bridges the wisdom of ancestral ceremonial practices with contemporary cinematic production. Its compositions are designed to support deep listening, introspection, and direct engagement with the intelligence of Master Plants, guided by MIRA JEMPE.
